In the morning we tour the Forbidden City; a huge complex of palaces, pavilions, courtyards and gardens. Walk through Tian’anmen Square, the site of many history-making events. After lunch, visit Pearl Workshop and the Summer Palace which is located in a park full of charming pavilions and scenic views. (B/L)

Today we visit the Great Wall(Juyonguan Pass); this man-made structure winds like a dragon across Northern China, stop at Jade Factory. After lunch, visit the Ming Tombs (Changling Tomb), and drive by the Olympic Village. Tonight you will have the famous Beijing Duck dinner. (B/L/SD)

Fly to Xian in the morning. Visit the Ancient City Wall, and the Shaanxi History Museum, which boasts more than 370,000 rare cultural relics unearthed in Shaanxi. (B/L/D)

Fly to Guilin, a city famous for its picturesque landscape. This area has inspired Chinese artists and poets for centuries. Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, and Reed Flute Cave. (B/L)

Coach to Yangshuo. take a spectacular cruise down the meandering Li River. The scenery is breathtaking, as jagged, mist-covered mountains loom before you, and quaint villages dot the riverbanks.
